Coronavirus - latest Information and advice

Covid vaccines – The practice are ready to do all we can to deliver Covid vaccines to our highest risk population. As a practice and network we are involved in local conversations about how best to deliver the mass vaccination programme safely to our patients and residents of Milton Keynes .

The practice is working together with other practices in our Primary Care Network (PCN). We are now able to offer the Covid-19 vaccination to patients within the cohorts . We will contact you when you are eligible to book
Eligible patients registered with our practice will be invited to receive the vaccination, at Westcroft Health Centre, 1 Savill Lane, Westcroft, Milton Keynes, MK4 4EN.
Please help us to manage our time and do not contact us to book a Covid-19 vaccination as all eligible patients will be contacted by us and invited to attend a vaccination appointment.

We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:

  • limit contact with other people
  • keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible)
  • wash your hands regularly

Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

Please check online using the following link or call 111 if you are showing symptoms of Covid19 which include a new continuous cough OR fever OR loss of/ change in smell or taste

The general clinical case definition for COVID-19 has been updated to include loss of or change in smell or taste. It is now:

New continuous cough OR fever OR loss of/ change in smell or taste

Everyone, including health and social care workers, should self-isolate if they develop a new continuous cough or fever or loss of/ change in smell or taste.

The individual's household should also self-isolate for 14 days as per the current guidelines and the individual should stay at home for 7 days, or longer if they still have symptoms other than cough or loss of sense of smell or taste.

Please do not come into the surgery 111 are prepared to deal with all suspected cases and will look after your care and testing

The practice is currently only seeing a limited number of patients for pre-booked nursing appointments or at the request of a gp. This is to protect our patients and staff and comply with social distancing.
