Furzton Medical centre will introduce a new role of a nurse practitioner from April 2016 , if you have a minor illness we would recommend first you speak to your local pharmacy and if required book an appointment with our nurse practitioner there are a number of conditions she is able to prescribe for please check with reception upon booking.

In 2018 we introduced a Practice Paramedic and increased our Urgent Care Practitioner staffing . Our reception teams have now all been trained to become Care Navigators this means with there increased training you will now be directed to the right clinician the first time for your condition . Care Navigations are also trained in signposting which means they can also direct you to local services for Social Prescribing .
